The text for "The Boys King Arthur", first published in 1880 by the Americanpoet Sidney Lanier (1842-1881) is a re-working of the original Sir ThomasMalory's "History of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table".
The illustrations are by the incomparable Newell Convers Wyeth(1882-1945) and where published in 1917(Charles Scribner's Sons) for a series of books "TheScribner Illustrated Classics.
